Augusta University Faculty Authors To Speak At Annual Reception – Jagwire



Augusta University Libraries will host their eighth annual Faculty Authors Reception at 4 p.m. on October 14 at the Reese Library.

Since 2014, this event rewards faculty members who are authors or editors of books or book chapters.

Faculty speakers this year include:

  • Dr. Mary-Kate Lizotte, professor of political science in the Department of Social Sciences at Pamplin College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, has published in the Political Marketing Journal and elsewhere.
  • Dr. Soma Mukhopadhyay, senior lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences at the College of Science and Mathematics, recently published, among other projects, a photographic atlas on the anatomy of the rabbit.
  • Dr. Todd Schoenbaum, professor in the Department of Restorative Sciences at the Dental College of Georgia, recently launched a peer-reviewed clinical dentistry journal.

This event is open to faculty, staff and students of Augusta University. Take-out refreshments will be provided.

Dr Zach Kelehear, Vice-Rector for Education, will deliver remarks. Dr. Kathy Browder, Vice-President, Faculty Affairs, will also be in attendance.
