SmileCon’s emerging science panel to explore breakthroughs that could shape the future of dental care

The impact of scientific discovery on clinical practice will be the topic of discussion at a SmileCon panel hosted by the editors of the Journal of the American Dental Association and JADA Foundational Science and featuring Norton M. Ross Award winners. of the ADA for excellence in clinical research.

Emerging Science in Oral Health – From Research Labs to Clinics (2160) will take place from 11 a.m. to noon on October 12 at the Mandalay Bay South Convention Center, Jasmine A.

Moderated by Michelle Hoffman, ADA Vice President of Publishing, the panel will include Tim Wright, DDS, Editor-in-Chief of JADA and Distinguished Professor Bawden in the Division of Pediatric Dentistry and Public Health at the University of Carolina at North to Chapel. Hill Adams School of Dentistry; Jack L.
