Tenino Family Dental Center to redeem Halloween candy until November 8

Children who donate their Halloween candy to the Tenino Family Dental Center will receive $ 3 per pound of candy they donate through November 8 as part of the “Big Halloween Candy Redemption”. Drop off your donations at 872 Sussex Avenue East during business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, and 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Students to host Oakville Applicant Forum on October 19

The Oakville School District and Oakville Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a virtual Meet the Candidates event for mayor, school board and city council candidates in Oakville at 6:30 p.m. on October 19 via Facebook Live. Community members are encouraged to submit questions to applicants at Mr. Booth’s Contemporary World Issues class at Oakville High School will assess and refine the questions and present them to candidates for answer. Toledo High School Construction Update: The Roof Has Arrived; The excavation of the parking lot continues

Roofing materials for the Toledo High School have arrived and crews will begin installing the roof once the weather is fine, the Toledo School District said on Wednesday. Excavation and grading of the parking lot is also underway, as crews discovered unstable embankments and soils that would reduce the life of the asphalt.
