Thanks to our wonderful community, the Northampton Education Foundation’s first online quiz on April 13 was a huge success!

We had a fun evening dancing with friends and family in our living rooms, meeting pets, answering amazing questions and raising money for inspiring and creative projects at our Northampton Public Schools. With the help of the community, NEF has raised over $7,000 for our Small Grants Program, which will fund educational experiences designed and executed by teachers in our community. Past grants have been awarded to teach a wide variety of innovative programs, including anti-racism education, publishing a literary journal, and a course on how to code drones.

We would especially like to thank our sponsors: A2Z Science and Learning Store; Chia Collins and Michael Cohen; Hampshire Daily Gazette; Dale Melcher and Bill Newman; Gage-Wiley & Co.; Grow Food Northampton; Harbor One mortgage (applied mortgage); High Five Books; Marisa Labozzetta & Martin Wohl; Mayor Gina-Louise Sciarra’s Campaign Committee; Miriam Krell Bourke, Valley Mediation; Paradise Copies, Inc.; Pixel Edge; River Valley Cooperative; Sasson, Turnball, Ryan and Hoose; Community class tutors; The Dadz; The law firm Valérie Vignaux; Thornes market; Whale insurance; and Wohl Family Dentistry. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in a fun night for a good cause.
